How it works

  1. Add and transcribe

Add your media and choose its spoken language. Sign in to generate captions; extracted audio is sent for transcription while the video stays on your device.

  2. Review the result

Play the clip and correct names, numbers and any misheard phrases before choosing the final appearance.

  3. Export and check

Download the captioned video, then play the saved file at its intended viewing size. Keep the editable project for later corrections.

Podcast audio has predictable trouble spots: introductions, sponsor names, two people interrupting and a guest on a poor connection. Review those sections before spending time on the caption style.

Choose the excerpt yourself. Make sure a quoted answer still makes sense without the preceding conversation, and include the question when it changes the meaning.

Correct guest vocabulary
Review names and specialist terms in the editable transcript.
Subtitle or transcript files
Download SRT, VTT or plain text according to your publishing destination.
Style a chosen excerpt
Use a readable treatment for dialogue and a stronger one for a short opening line.
Known input limits
Free allows 2 minutes per video, Creator 30 and Pro 90.

Keep the speaker understandable

Automatic speech text is not a finished accessible caption track. Review speaker changes, laughter and sounds necessary to understand the conversation. A generic “Speaker 1” label is less helpful than a correct name when the identity is known.

If voices overlap beyond recognition, do not invent missing words. Listen again, consult the guest or use an appropriate indication of unclear speech.

Plan the episode before spending minutes

A 45-minute recording needs a plan with a sufficient per-video limit as well as sufficient transcription minutes. An unlimited export allowance does not mean unlimited transcription.

For social clips, finish cuts before the final subtitle export. Check the clip’s first and last sentence so neither starts in the middle of a word or loses the conclusion.

Common questions

Will this find the best podcast clips automatically?

No. Choose the moment yourself or use a clipping tool first. This workflow handles transcription and caption presentation.

Does it automatically label every speaker?

Do not rely on an exported subtitle file as an automatically speaker-labelled transcript. Review and add any identities needed for understanding.

Can I keep re-exporting after corrections?

Yes. Exports are unlimited; transcription consumes the applicable audio-minute allowance.
