How it works

  1. Add and transcribe

Add your media and choose its spoken language. Sign in to generate captions; extracted audio is sent for transcription while the video stays on your device.

  2. Review the result

Play the clip and correct names, numbers and any misheard phrases before choosing the final appearance.

  3. Export and check

Download the captioned video, then play the saved file at its intended viewing size. Keep the editable project for later corrections.

A Reel caption can mean two things: the description below a post or the words shown during speech. This page covers timed words inside the video.

Burned-in text travels with the exported file, but it can still be obscured by controls or cut off by a crop. There is no single placement that guarantees visibility in every Facebook view.

Review the speech
Check offers, prices and names so the on-screen message matches the recording.
Place it deliberately
Move captions away from faces, demonstrations, the bottom description and right-side controls.
Reuse the finished file
Use the same export on another platform after checking that platform’s crop and controls.
Choose your script
Hindi can appear in Devanagari; Roman-script output uses Candy Ultra.

Check the actual posting preview

Start with text inset from the edges and above the lower interface. Preview the longest caption, not only the opening line. A short line can fit while a later sentence crosses a button.

Open Facebook’s posting preview before publishing. Adjust the placement if your text collides with overlays; the editor preview does not simulate every Facebook interface.

When Facebook already supplies captions

Facebook also offers caption options for supported video workflows. If you use a burned-in export, inspect the final player for a second automatic text layer. Keep one readable presentation rather than two overlapping versions.

Common questions

Will an SRT style my Reel?

A subtitle file contains text and timings. For the visual style shown here, export the captioned video instead.

Can I use this for a written Facebook post caption?

This tool transcribes speech inside a video. It does not generate a social post description or hashtags.

Will the text survive compression?

The text is part of the exported picture, but Facebook can recompress it. Check a posted test at phone size; increase weight or simplify the style if small details blur.
